One of the most important elements of film making is lighting, the different types of lighting can influence the feel of a film as well as inform parts of the story or plot, as well as simply lighting the character correctly especially in an interview setting.

TYPES OF LIGHTS

**Blondes : Used mainly as a fill light, this is due to the fact that blondes are a 2k open-faced light. Arri-Blonde-Light

**Redhead : They usually offer tungsten 1000W and are a type of open-faced lights.

TYPES OF BULBS (used in these lights)

**Tungsten : A tungsten light is basically a more powerful version of a common household light bulb. The tungsten light bulb naturally produces an orange hue, similar to indoor lights.

** Fluorescent :  “Kino-flo” is one of the major companies involved in making fluorescent bulbs and fixtures for film and video production. Fluorescent lights tend to be very soft, but do not put out much light in comparison to other lighting instruments.
